Real Healthcare Reform

This is not really a state issue (except in terms of Federal intrusion via Medicare and Medicaid), but the lack of a price system is a destroyer of markets everywhere and anywhere. The medical field is no different.

To “fix” healthcare in the United States we must:

End the employer post-tax benefit to let people buy their own insurance.
Allow for large HAS (Health Savings Accounts), this will allow insurance to be insurance and not prepaid healthcare.
Allow insurance companies to sell policies across state lines.
Institute “loser pays” (or loser might pay) tort reform in medical malpractice claims.
