I am 94-months old today!

Welcome to fall … finally in Texas. It seemed like that heat would never break. We are now enjoying cooler temperatures and actually seeing rain. Things are going well here at the Kless house. We are all back into the school year routine and enjoying the year. I really like my class and I am learning a lot. We have weekly spelling tests and are required to read 20 minutes each night. We also are writing each night. We have a website that we can go to to write what we read about. It is kind of cool because we can read our class mates posts and ask them questions or comment on what they are reading. The last book I read was Charlotte's Web. It was pretty sad in the end. I was sad that Charlotte did not get to be a mom. I read that book for our boys book club that we started this past summer. We decided to continue it into the school year, but meet a little less frequently.

My biggest news of the month is that my Dad has decided to run for Lt. Governor of the great state of Texas! We were all there when he made his announcement and we are all pretty proud of him. He will seek his parties' nomination and if chosen, he will run next fall. It should be an exciting time for us! If you would like to follow along on this exciting journey for our family, you can on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/ElectKless - or his website at www.ElectKless.com.

Cara and I are enjoying our fall activities. I am playing baseball and it is going pretty well. We are learning more positions and I tend to play 1st, 2nd and catcher. Of course, I have been watching a lot of baseball too. I do love October! I am sad that the Rangers are out, but it sure has been fun routing for the Pirates! To finally have a winning season - more than two decades without one - and to get to the NLDS has been FUN! Grandma and Grandpap went to Pittsburgh last month and got us all decked out in Pittsburgh wear!

Cara loves her cheerleading. Those girls are tough! They have cheered in the extreme hot, cold and pouring rain. And none of them complain! She has gotten to enjoy the girls on her team and make some new friends. They have four more games and then they have an end-of-season competition. Cara also has been enjoying her ballet class that Grandma takes her to on Tuesdays. (BTW Tuesday is Cara's FAVORITE day of the week as she is picked up from pre-school by Grandma, along with a treat basket, and gets to spend the night at Grandma's house too!) Cara is enjoying her school year and having fun with her friends.

A few other fun things are going on. I have my own Fantasy Football League - the SFL. I love playing and monitoring my team and players. I am playing with my family and Grandma. Cara's team - the New Zealand Pandas - are not doing well at all. Mommy's team - the Saugerties S'Mores - are in the lead! I have two teams and like I said, I am into it! We are starting out Destination Imagination team again. Five of the six teammates are doing it again and we are looking forward to another fun session. Mommy is one of the team managers along with Charlotte's mom.

We are getting ready for fall and all the fun events! Cara is going to turn 5 in just a couple of weeks! She is very excited and has a countdown to her birthday. We are looking forward to Halloween and Mom and Dad's birthdays. From now til Christmas it is one party after another!

Enjoy!

Love, Sean
